A letter from Rachel
When I began making wigs, I kept meeting women who had been told that a beautiful, natural wig simply cost five, seven, even ten thousand dollars. Women covering their hair as an act of faith. Women losing their hair to illness. Women who deserved to feel like themselves, and were being asked to pay a fortune for it.
I could not accept that. The hair, the craft and the care that go into a luxury wig are real, and they are worth paying for. The markup is not.
So I built Rachel Kreit differently. The same premium virgin hair, the same hand finishing, the same private, personal service, priced honestly. Not because our wigs are anything less, but because this is what it should have cost all along.
No one should profit from a woman's religion, or from her illness. This business exists to change that.
